Test unit for the integration of SIMBIO-SYS instruments “suite”SIMBIO-SYS (Spectrometers and Imagers for MPO BepiColombo Integrated Observatory SYStem) , part of BepiColombo mission. The three units produced are used for the Proximity Electronics (PE) control of the three instruments which composed the SIMBIO-SYS: Stereoscopic Chamber (STC), high resolution chamber (HRIC) and hyper-spectral chamber (VIHI)
Each test unit is configurable to be adapted to the three instruments, which are controlled by a SpaceWire communication interface. The Software allows to control the instruments during the operating phases, catching real time images produced for detectors calibration.
